So many people take this statement for granted. They do not fully consider what it means. Let us examine the implications just for a moment. First, God is all powerful, all knowing, and all good. That much is self evident. God is such a force of absolute Genius that he brought all of the universe and possibly even the multiverse into existence. From all the laws governing the motions bodies to the vast unimaginable distances in-between starts, to the deep and dark mysteries of the mysterious black hole, God authored it all. The Genius required to bring all this about and make millions upon millions of variables function in complete harmony is so astounding that we cannot begin to fathom the depth of this creative mind. All human knowledge combined would form but one sentence to the book of the Universe by comparison.

Thus, when we say that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, who is also the author of the Universe and all that is, we are making no small claim. Naturally, when we read the passages written by this infinite giant of creative giants we will find ourselves in unspeakable awe. Every sentence, written by such creative genius will certainly be an inspiration in and of itself to our limited minds. Let us take a moment to bask in awe of such Genius.

Gen 38:8-10

Then Judah said to Onan, ‘Go in to your brother’s wife and perform the duty of a brother-in-law to her; raise up offspring for your brother.’ But since Onan knew that the offspring would not be his, he spilled his semen on the ground whenever he went in to his brother’s wife, so that he would not give offspring to his brother. What he did was displeasing in the sight of the LORD, and he put him to death also.

Straight form the mouth of the being who created black holes, stars and super novas. But there is more. If you need a few moments before rising from your knees to read the next passage. I will wait. I too sit in awe.

Exodus 4:24-26

And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.

Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.

So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.

Words of sheer Genius from the author of all life, the maker of infinite diversity in infinite combinations, the constructor of the amazing tree frog and the one who created consciousness itself.

Exodus 34:14

For the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

Words that transcend enlightenment straight from the lips of the most enlightened of enlightened, the very creator of free will itself.

Truly the words of this magnificent author of all that is are such that upon reading them your knees tremble and your hear and mind soar. I leave you with this last bit of poetical creativity, straight form the mouth of infinite Genius:

Evangelical Scientists Refute Gravity With New 'Intelligent Falling' Theory

KANSAS CITY, KS—As the debate over the teaching of evolution in public schools continues, a new controversy over the science curriculum arose Monday in this embattled Midwestern state. Scientists from the Evangelical Center For Faith-Based Reasoning are now asserting that the long-held "theory of gravity" is flawed, and they have responded to it with a new theory of Intelligent Falling.

"Things fall not because they are acted upon by some gravitational force, but because a higher intelligence, 'God' if you will, is pushing them down," said Gabriel Burdett, who holds degrees in education, applied Scripture, and physics from Oral Roberts University.

Burdett added: "Gravity—which is taught to our children as a law—is founded on great gaps in understanding. The laws predict the mutual force between all bodies of mass, but they cannot explain that force. Isaac Newton himself said, 'I suspect that my theories may all depend upon a force for which philosophers have searched all of nature in vain.' Of course, he is alluding to a higher power."

Founded in 1987, the ECFR is the world's leading institution of evangelical physics, a branch of physics based on literal interpretation of the Bible.

According to the ECFR paper published simultaneously this week in the International Journal Of Science and the adolescent magazine God's Word For Teens!, there are many phenomena that cannot be explained by secular gravity alone, including such mysteries as how angels fly, how Jesus ascended into Heaven, and how Satan fell when cast out of Paradise.

The ECFR, in conjunction with the Christian Coalition and other Christian conservative action groups, is calling for public-school curriculums to give equal time to the Intelligent Falling theory. They insist they are not asking that the theory of gravity be banned from schools, but only that students be offered both sides of the issue "so they can make an informed decision."

"We just want the best possible education for Kansas' kids," Burdett said.

Proponents of Intelligent Falling assert that the different theories used by secular physicists to explain gravity are not internally consistent. Even critics of Intelligent Falling admit that Einstein's ideas about gravity are mathematically irreconcilable with quantum mechanics. This fact, Intelligent Falling proponents say, proves that gravity is a theory in crisis.

"Let's take a look at the evidence," said ECFR senior fellow Gregory Lunsden."In Matthew 15:14, Jesus says, 'And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.' He says nothing about some gravity making them fall—just that they will fall. Then, in Job 5:7, we read, 'But mankind is born to trouble, as surely as sparks fly upwards.' If gravity is pulling everything down, why do the sparks fly upwards with great surety? This clearly indicates that a conscious intelligence governs all falling."

Critics of Intelligent Falling point out that gravity is a provable law based on empirical observations of natural phenomena. Evangelical physicists, however, insist that there is no conflict between Newton's mathematics and Holy Scripture.

"Closed-minded gravitists cannot find a way to make Einstein's general relativity match up with the subatomic quantum world," said Dr. Ellen Carson, a leading Intelligent Falling expert known for her work with the Kansan Youth Ministry. "They've been trying to do it for the better part of a century now, and despite all their empirical observation and carefully compiled data, they still don't know how."

"Traditional scientists admit that they cannot explain how gravitation is supposed to work," Carson said. "What the gravity-agenda scientists need to realize is that 'gravity waves' and 'gravitons' are just secular words for 'God can do whatever He wants.'"

Some evangelical physicists propose that Intelligent Falling provides an elegant solution to the central problem of modern physics.

"Anti-falling physicists have been theorizing for decades about the 'electromagnetic force,' the 'weak nuclear force,' the 'strong nuclear force,' and so-called 'force of gravity,'" Burdett said. "And they tilt their findings toward trying to unite them into one force. But readers of the Bible have already known for millennia what this one, unified force is: His name is Jesus."

God makes a bet with the Devil!

God goes to great lengths in the bible to show us that if you make a bet against him, you will lose. Take a look at this bet he places with Satan. I have paraphrased the following verses, please look at the actual verses for yourselves when you have time.

Job 1:8 – 12

God: Hey Satan look at how good Job is. Job is perfect and is not afraid of evil.

Satan: Hey God, I bet that I can turn your highly pious servant, Job, against you.

God: I bet you can’t.

Satan: Job is only so righteous because you take careful care to guard him with shrubberies and because you pamper him. If you would put your money where your mouth is and give me permission to test him, I think I would win the bet.

God: I accept your bet. I will grant you power over everything the Job has, but I will not allow you to touch Job himself.

Job 1:13-22

With the power given from God, Satan kills Job’s children, kills his servants, and kills his livestock. After all this, Job did not turn from God.

Job 2:3-6

God: See Satan, I told you so.

Satan: Meh. You merely allowed me to kill his children, servants and livestock. If you allow me to inflict Job himself, I will win the bet.

God: Fine. I will give you the power to torture Job, but I will not allow you to kill him.

Job 2:7-10

Satan inflicts Job with boils from head to foot. They were so bad that Job scratched at them with broken pottery. In all this Job did not turn form God.

Most of the rest of Job

Job goes through a long and trying ordeal and eventually pleads with God. God restores Job’s property and Job gets a new family. God does not bring back Job’s children from the dead, however.

Moral #1: God won his bet with Satan.

Moral#2: Killing Job’s children and torturing Job, while a tainted means, were justified by the end, which was God winning his bet with Satan.

Moral#3: The end justifies the means.

Well, is it? In an article coincidently entitled, “Is Christianity the One True Religion?”, our blessed friends at CARM answer the question.

Hold on there, CARM... Do not apologize for being dogmatic and narrow-minded. No apology should be needed as the bible says we are justified through faith.

I see, I spoke too soon. I am glad you agree with me.

“Christians do not go around saying Christianity is the only way because they are arrogant, narrow-minded, stupid, and judgmental.”

Of course not! We do it because we know everyone else is wrong.

So how is it that we know we are right?

“Jesus said that He was the only way. Jesus is unique. He was either telling the truth, He was crazy, or He was a liar. But since everyone agrees that Jesus was a good man, how then could He be both good and crazy, or good and a liar? He had to be telling the truth. He is the only way.”

Bingo! Good men can never be wrong and none of the leaders of other religions are good. That is right Mr. Dali Lama, we are talking to you. God will see you in hell along with Gandhi.

“Buddha didn't rise from the dead, nor did Confucius or Zoroaster. Muhammad didn't fulfill detailed prophecy. Alexander the Great didn't raise the dead or heal the sick. And though there is far less reliable information written about them, they are believed in.”

Amen! Rising from the dead is a prerequisite to speaking truth. This is something so self evident that not even CARM sees a need to explain it.

“Stoner says that by using the modern science of probability in reference to eight prophecies, ‘we find that the chance that any man might have lived down to the present time and fulfilled all eight prophecies is 1 in 10¹⁷." That would be 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000.”

Proof! We have everyone nailed. Do not think too much about the fact that both Jesus and the writers of the New Testament had access to the ancient prophesies beforehand. It is a meaningless detail that obviously can not stand in the way of faith.

The Art of Proselytizing

In this day and age, proselytizing is getting more and more difficult. How many times have you stood outside a school, bar or rock concert with a stack of little bibles, only to be rejected at every turn? Do not feel bad, it has happened to all of us.

But cheer up, I have a solution. We need a new product, one that will get people hooked on Christ for good, and I have come up with just the thing:

Instead of standing in front of that school or bar with a stack of bibles, you can now stand there with a stack of these.

Yes, yes, I know, you all are probably thinking the same thing right now: How can I get my hands on these?

Until we get the funding to start our own tobacco company, there is an easy answer. Simply download this image, resize it to fit a pack of smokes and then paste it on the front of any cigarette package.

Now, go out and stand tall with pride. You are not proselytizers, but rather you are SoulSavers.

Your concern for me is well received. However, I would like to voice my own concerns, assuming you have no objection….... I will take your silence as permission to proceed. Thank you!

Okay then. You have committed the following two faith fallacies:

1.) An appeal to evidence. I need not remind you that faith takes the place of evidence as it is the evidence of things not seen.

2.) An appeal to knowledge. As you know, 1^st Corinthians 8:2 says, “And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.” The verse stands on its own, but when read in context it is plainly clear that man cannot know things that are of God. Whiles this clearly contradicts your point, it does not contradict what your verse is actually saying, as we can only "know" god through belief or faith, but not through actual knowledge.

Finally, you refer me back to the bible. This is a good move as our faith is based on the book. While a Muslim may use the same argument, all we have to do is point out that the Muslim’s holy book rejects our book and we win by default of faith.

I know that this may be a bit hard for some to swallow, but if it made sense then we could justify faith through logic, and remember, an appeal to logic is the third faith fallacy. What the bible says may not make sense to the human mind, but if you must break my heart and turn away from Christianity in favor of something that does make sense, may I suggest Buddhism?

Does Science Threaten Christianity?

The answer, of course, is no! But nevertheless, the online debate rages on. Scientific questions of the most concern to Christians are:

1.) Evolution to counter creationism

2.) The real age of the earth

3.) The rejection of ID by the scientific community

4.) The very existence of God

5.) Whether the moon landings were a hoax

One is hard pressed these days to join just about any internet forum and not see one of these topics come up at some point. The debate is everywhere. Just the other day I was reading through a cooking light forum and found an intense thread debating the age of the earth and what that meant for evolution.

Fear not. You can overcome any science based debate with one sentence:

"However, when the interpretation of scientific data contradicts the true history of the world as revealed in the Bible, then it’s the interpretation of the data that is at fault."

How to respond to an Atheist

Much of my focus so far has been to arm fellow Christian Soldiers with the tools necessary to disarm the faith of false religions. But sometimes we find ourselves confronted with an even more serious threat: the Atheist. Oh that god may deliver us from such a predicament.

The atheist can be the most formidable foe you meet. While it is rather easy to demonstrate that the faiths of all non-Christian religions are silly, we find ourselves in a different ball game when battling the atheist. They will fight dirty. They will use all the techniques I have given you to fight faith, but they will also use them against our beloved Christianity. While this merely highlights a misunderstanding of how to apply arguments against faith, atheists will do it anyway.

But it gets worse. They will also employ several of the faith fallacies appealing to evidence, logic and knowledge (discussed in an entry below called: Faith Fallaices). While a believer using such arguments is hypocritical because the arguments reject faith, the atheist is not concerned in the slightest about his soul and will reject faith at every turn.

Thus, we need to address the atheist with a completely different perspective. There are many techniques in dealing with an atheist, but for now I will give you only the most effective. When you have had time to practice and master it, I will give you more. Here we go:

Be the alpha

Not only should you avoid arguing on their turf, but avoid arguing with them altogether! Should you encounter an atheist out on the street, you must have the attitude that his opinions are unimportant, that he is far below the level of the believer, and not worth the time of day. Here is how you can put this into practice (from a real conversation/session):

Atheist: That you posit god as the first cause is a cop out. You say it is unlikely that humans in all their complexity would ever come into existence naturally, yet you advance a much more complex being as the first cause. What ever the odds against humans, they are almost infinitely worse for the existence of this other highly complex being…

TinySaint: Bad dog! Sit.

Atheist: Excuse me, did you just call me a dog?

TinySaint: Bad, bad dog! That is no! Sit.

Atheist: What the fuck?

TinySaint: No! Sit.

Atheist: Are you on drugs?

TinySaint: Bad! I said sit!

Atheist: Uh, okay. Atheist sits.

TinySaint: Good dog. Throws him a doggy biscuit.

Did you see how effective this is? Like a dog, the atheist will not usually respond positively to the command the first time it is given. The key is consistency. When they ignore your command, do not reward them, but repeat the command. Keep this up until they either obey or walk away. I also suggest keeping a rolled up newspaper in your back pocket as it can make the training process go by faster. If the atheist refuses to obey after the first two commands, take out the paper and whack him on the nose and then repeat the command. You must show him that you are the alpha and that he cannot get away with his atheistic animalism.

One word of caution. The reward at the end is optional. I typically like to reward good behavior, but after I give them the doggy biscuit they usually follow me home, and hang around outside begging for more. This can certainly be annoying.

Now, go practice and update me with your results! God be with you.

Winning is believing

Tonight I want to demonstrate how you can win an argument against false religions merely by believing you have won. What you say? It is not as ridiculous as it sounds. If having faith the size of the grain of a mustard seed enables you to move mountains, then the amount of faith required to do something as simple as win an argument must be closer to the size of an atom, or maybe even a top quark.

Put ‘Winning is believing’ into practice

Our friends at carm.org effectively demonstrate this technique by disemboweling the faith of the Jehovah's Witness.

Addressing the Jehovah’s Witness they say:

… you are taught the Watchtower organization is the true channel of God’s revelation to His church on earth. You are taught that you are in "The Truth." But believing it does not make it so.

How right they are. Believing does not make a thing so, unless you believe as we do. But this is only the beginning of the argument.

The Watchtower organization tells you what to think and what to do. If you say that is not true and that the Watchtower Organization is God's organization on earth, then you are simply repeating what the Watchtower tells you.

Slam! They cannot escape from this. Any response the Jehovah’s witness tries to make would prove that he rejects what the Christian organization tells him to think and to do. Further, it will also show his unwillingness to simply repeat what the bible tells him. Are you starting to believe we have won yet? Let us go a step futher:

Jehovah’s Witnesses faithfully go door-to-door preaching the "Kingdom of God" that is taught them via the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

they are students of the Watchtower which is why, basically, all Jehovah's Witnesses all believe the very same thing.

Not only do they interrupt us at very inconvenient times, (usually right in the middle of sex with our spouses in the missionary position), but they are also united in their belief. Sheer arrogance. The annoyance factor alone is enough for us to believe we have won.

With so few words, we have already demonstrated that the Jehovah faith is a fraud and a cult because it fails to submit to our belief. But why quit when we are ahead? Why not throw another foot of dirt on the grave of their faith?

Do you want to trust your eternal soul to the teachings of several men headquartered in Brooklyn, New York who claim to be the directors of God's organization on earth? Do you? Eternity is a long time to be wrong.

Do we not hear anything yet of the noise of the gravediggers who are burying the Jehovah? I hear it. And it is the sound of victory. Why would the Jehovah trust the institution of his faith to those men in Brooklyn, when he could trust it to The First Council of Nicea called by Emperor Constantine 300 years after the death of Christ as we do? Note, that Constatine has some pretty hefty credentials, as the word “Emperor” appears before his name.

And with that, my friends, we have buried their faith with ours.
